Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, nestled in a beautiful golf course setting with delightful visits from kangaroos. The room was impressively spacious and comfortable, which made my stay very enjoyable. While the dining options could use a bit more variety, the quality was quite good. The location is peaceful and perfect for exploring the surrounding nature, making it a great getaway. However, I did notice some wear and tear in the furnishings that could be addressed for a more premium feel.
I enjoyed my stay, particularly the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful view of the golf course. The rooms were spacious and clean, which added to the comfort level. However, I was a bit disappointed with the communication around our welcome amenities and the fact that the indoor pool was closed during our visit. Overall, it was a nice getaway, albeit a bit misleading regarding its location to the Yarra Valley.
Yarra Valley Lodge is a lovely retreat just outside Melbourne, offering a clean and comfortable stay with stunning views of kangaroos and the surrounding countryside. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, making it a great escape from the city. However, the dining experience during peak times could be improved, and parking can be a bit challenging when the hotel is full.
I had an incredible experience celebrating my 50th wedding anniversary at the lodge with my family. We rented a private room for our lunch, which felt intimate and allowed the grandkids to play freely. The food was excellent, and the service was fantastic. A great day ended with some bowling nearby. I highly recommend this place for special occasions.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, nestled in beautiful surroundings among a picturesque golf course and frequent kangaroo sightings. The spacious rooms were comfortable, but they did show some signs of wear and tear. The dining experience was excellent, especially dinner, but breakfast could be improved. Although the location is convenient for exploring the Yarra Valley, it's not directly in it. A few minor inconveniences, like the pool being closed for renovations, did detract from the overall experience.
